Driving

A mere 2 hours drive from The Valley, Tucson is a quick visit from Phoenix. Perfect for a day trip or overnight if you're in town. The drive to Tucson is pretty flat, Picacho Peak is a great exception to this (and also the site of the Western most Civil War battle). Hit the I-10E, and exit 258 for Congress Street, turn left and you'll be pointed directly at Downtown Tucson.

Tombstone is just over an hour away, site of the famous shootout at the O.K. Corral between Wyatt Earp and Doc Holliday.

Bisbee is about 1hr45m from Tucson and the home of an old mining town built on the side of a mountain. It's known for it's art galleries, bars, historical hotels, and eccentric locals. There are a ton of mining museums and sites to check out.
